About Us |
Riverview United Presbyterian Church was formed on October 28, 1977, when the congregations of the Eighth United Presbyterian Church, North United Presbyterian Church and Watson Memorial Presbyterian Church merged to form one body of Christ. These congregations were founded in the City of Allegheny in the late 1800’s and were located on the Perrysville Plank Road, now named Perrysville Avenue, through what has become the City of Pittsburgh’s North Side. As a result of this merger, three congregations became one and Riverview United Presbyterian Church became a unified congregation witnessing to the community in the name of Jesus Christ. |
